To have multiple folders open in Visual Studio Code, use the 'Add Folder to Workspace' option from the File menu. After adding folders, ensure to save the workspace as a .code-workspace file.

Despite working with VS Code for years, finding resources for features like multi-project handling remains a challenge for users, necessitating clear guides.

In trying to open an HTML file, I get an error in VS Code saying "Unable to sync settings because the content in the file is not valid." I fear that I corrupted this file when I tried to add an extension, Colorful Comments.
