Before the practice, coach Andy Reid said Rice will make his season debut Sunday when the Chiefs host the Las Vegas Raiders (1 p.m. ET, CBS). "How many snaps he gets, [I don't know]," Reid said of Rice. "He's excited to be back in and going. I think getting through practices [this week] will be good for him to get into the swing of things. He's been working hard. He's in good shape."

When Brock Purdy returns to the field after a two-week absence Sunday, it will be with a wide receiver crew that's pretty close to full strength. Wide receivers Ricky Pearsall Jr. and Jauan Jennings listed as questionable during the week, are both active and will face the Jacksonville Jaguars at Levi's Stadium (1:05 p.m., Fox). So will Demarcus Robinson, who missed the first three games on suspension for being in violation of the NFL's personal conduct policy.

[Ja'Corey] Brooks is a long way from earning a spot on the 53-man roster, but he certainly helped his cause during the first two days of camp. Brooks isn't getting too excited about his start to camp, which is smart, because there are several more tests for him to take on. He'll have to maintain his production in the preseason as well as joint practices with the New England Patriots and Baltimore Ravens. Still, he should have his coaches' attention after what he did earlier in the week.

During a conversation with cornerback Marlon Humphrey and a strength coach this offseason, wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins revealed that he sees a missing piece in the Ravens, and he believes he could be that addition, depending on Lamar Jackson's trust in him. His success largely hinges on how much faith Jackson places in him during tight window throws, where Hopkins excels.
