In the history of Major League Baseball, there have been 670 World Series games and just four have featured three catchers appearing for the same team. But only once in all those years and all those contests have all three catchers also produced a hit and RBI.

Heyward hit .255 with 186 career home runs and 125 stolen bases while accumulating five gold glove awards. He also finished second in rookie of the year voting in 2010.

the Texans and Cardinals was not particularly well played defensively, nor well pitched; however, it is one of the best WS games I've ever seen. Wow. And that sets up the last waltz tonight for the crown. Remember when pundits were laughing at MLB and Selig because there was no Yankees, Sawx or Phillies in the Series and how it would be TV ratings scum? I do, and it has turned out quite nicely thank you very much. Best Series in a while actually.

Broadcaster Joe Davis was put in a bit of a pickle the last two seasons. The lead broadcaster for FOX, he had the task of calling the last two World Series featuring the team he covers on a daily basis in the Los Angeles Dodgers. Despite his young age relative to the profession, Davis is a pro - and is undeniably objective in calling games even when he has immense familiarity/relationships with the Dodgers organization.
