Sergio Conceicao criticized AC Milan for unforced errors that contributed to their 2-2 draw against Fiorentina, pointing out that these mistakes occurred both defensively and throughout the team. Milan conceded two early goals but managed to equalize with efforts from Tammy Abraham and Luka Jovic. They currently sit ninth in Serie A, well behind Champions League spots, with a slim 0.2% chance of a top-four finish. With only 48 points this season, they must improve significantly to avoid poor standings as the season concludes.
"There are some individual errors, but not only in defence. I think the team made errors that were not forced by the opponent," Conceicao told Sky Sport.
"We also miss a lot of goals. We have to find this balance because we create a lot. The approach was bad, it was not what we prepared."
"Despite their disappointment with the result, Milan have gained the most points from losing positions in Serie A this season (16, level with Bologna)."
