Drew and Heather Spoelstra from Binbrook, Ontario, have been recognized as Ontario's Outstanding Young Farmers for 2026 after a regional competition. They operate Roy-A-Lea Farms Ltd., which produces grains, hay, dairy, and beef. Heather leads the Roy-A-Lea Clydesdales program, while Drew owns Roy-A-Lea Seeds Ltd. and serves as president of the Ontario Federation of Agriculture. Drew is also involved in various agricultural leadership roles and received the King Charles III Coronation Medal in 2024. They will represent Ontario at the national OYF event in Vancouver this November.
