Briefly

Nova Bus, a subsidiary of Volvo Buses, has been awarded a significant contract to produce 80 electric LFSe+ buses for the Regional Municipality of York, aimed at enhancing sustainable public transport in Toronto. The deliveries will start in 2026, and it comes at a time when Nova Bus celebrated securing its largest e-bus order in North America for 339 buses. The LFSe+ is equipped with dual charging options and modular battery design, supporting York's ambition to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050, emphasizing the importance of sustainable transit solutions.
We are thrilled to have been awarded contract because it not only demonstrates our expertise in electric bus manufacturing but also reinforces our position as a leader in sustainable public transit solutions.
Equipped with two charging options, the LFSe+ buses support overhead charging via a pantograph as well as a plug-in system, ensuring complete adaptability to existing charging infrastructure.
