TSA (Traktionssysteme Austria) and Solaris Bus & Coach have renewed their partnership with a significant agreement to supply 1,500 HD.T3 permanent magnet synchronous electric motors over the next three years. The HD.T3 motor is designed for Solaris’ electric Urbino models, supporting advanced modular designs that enhance passenger space. CEO Robert Tencl emphasized the company's commitment to becoming the leading supplier of electric motors for commercial vehicles, supported by a major investment in production facilities in Austria, ensuring a robust supply for the growing electric bus market.
We are proud that our electric motors, already well-established in the rail sector, are increasingly being used in electric buses on the road as well.
Our clear strategy is to become the number one supplier of electric motors for commercial road vehicles, building on our market leadership in the rail sector.
The HD.T3 permanent-magnet synchronous motor delivers a peak power of 420 kW and a maximum torque of 4,000 Nm; its compact design and modularity enable its integration into buses of various sizes.
By 2030, we will invest approximately 1.3 million euros in cutting-edge production technologies and our newly repurposed Plant 2 in Wiener Neudorf.
