Amazon is investing $5 billion upfront in Anthropic, with a potential additional investment of $20 billion. Project Rainier, featuring nearly half a million Trainium2 chips, is one of the largest AI computer clusters globally. More than 100,000 organizations are using Claude via Amazon Bedrock, and AWS customers can access Claude directly from their accounts without extra credentials.
