From 2027, the AI assistant will become a native experience as new or refreshed models are able to include it, possibly starting with the cheap electric truck that the automaker tells us is due next year, but also gas models like the Expedition and Navigator."

The assistant is intended to understand location, activity, and vehicle capability to simplify decisions for drivers. Initial availability will be through Ford and Lincoln smartphone apps beginning early this year. Native integration into new or refreshed models is scheduled from 2027. Practical features include photographing an item to determine if it will fit in a truck bed.
