I think the vastness of that is underappreciated by many people and what we see is that doesn't it's not changing like AI hasn't really changed those foundational needs in many ways."
"And what we're finding is that AI is expansionary. And so there's actually just more and more questions being asked and curiosity that can be fulfilled now with AI and so that's that's where you get the growth. Google Search continues to satisfy a vast range of user needs, including finding phone numbers, prices, directions, and payment pages. Those foundational needs have not materially changed with the rise of conversational AI. AI functions as an expansion of search, prompting more questions and greater curiosity that create additional search growth. Core Google Search behavior remains stable even as AI features are added. Google plans to integrate AI Mode within Search, and operators must consider AEO/SEO strategies adapted for AI-generated answers. AI Mode's market emergence complements rather than replaces traditional search interactions.
