New York is experiencing sleet and forecasts indicate the coldest winter since 1876. Zohran Mamdani announced 28 members of his Committee on Arts and Culture, including DCLA alums and staff from the Asian American Arts Alliance, Brooklyn Children's Museum, and the Mellon Foundation. Cultural offerings include Raúl de Nieves's stained-glass cathedral at Pioneer Works, a craft fair at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, and an unusually bright moon event. Citywide donation drives are underway for the season. Critics reviewed shows by Jennifer Packer, Raúl de Nieves, and Hortensia Mi Kafchin. Subscription invitations target New Yorkers, visitors, and others seeking events.
