Burnes said, "The plus is that the things you work on in the offseason and the things you work on in camp are showing up in game. We're not really having to fight mechanically with anything."
Naylor changed that in the fourth inning when he blistered a fastball from RHP Sean Burke and sent it onto the grassy berm in right field.
Mancini, a veteran in camp on a minor league deal, launched a no-doubt, walk-off homer to dead center field that landed on the first level of cacti.
Burnes noted, "Still getting built up, it's still that time of the year," indicating there’s more to come from his performance.
