Jeffers is a free agent at season’s end and has been one of Minnesota’s best hitters in 2026. He is hitting .295/.408/.541 with seven home runs and a walk rate matching his strikeout rate at 15.6% each. His 165 wRC+ ranks seventh among major league hitters with at least 140 plate appearances in 2026. Royce Lewis was also optioned to Triple-A.
