Werder Bremen players frustrated over lack of chances in loss to Bayern Munich
Briefly

In a 3-0 defeat to Bayern Munich, Werder Bremen's goalkeeper Michael Zetterer emerged as a standout performer, reflecting on the game's turning point being a penalty that shifted momentum. He expressed disappointment at not being able to maintain a scoreless situation longer. Striker Marvin Ducksch criticized the lack of attacking consistency, noting that the team was forced too deep and struggled to counter Bayern's pressing. Both players conveyed a sense of frustration over missed opportunities and the game's direction, highlighting Bremen's defensive strategy against a formidable opponent.
We knew what kind of game to expect and still threw everything into it, defended everything. I would have liked to have seen how the game would have gone if the penalty to make it 1-0 hadn't been scored - maybe we could have kept it at 0-0 or even pulled ahead.
It wasn't our plan to have so few attacks to relieve the pressure. In the end, we deserved to lose. We were simply pinned back too deep and the path forwards was extremely long when we won the ball.
