Guinness confirms delayed December opening for its Covent Garden mega-pub
"Originally announced back in early 2022, with an expected opening in late 2023, it's now been confirmed that the Guinness Open Gate Brewery will open on Thursday 11th December 2025. The venue will be a hybrid of a brewery and a food-and-drinks mega-pub, and they will also be offering tours of the brewery area, which might make it of interest to a wider non-stout-drinking audience."
"However, for the stout lovers, although it will have a brewery on site, they won't be brewing Guinness itself there - that will still come from Dublin. The Guinness Brewery that isn't brewing Guinness is located in Old Brewers Yard, a few minutes walk from Covent Garden tube station, and there's a pre-registration on their website for the first tours to go on sale shortly."

There will also be, what they describe as "epic Guinness merch" available from a shop on site, and a chance to learn how to pour a proper pint of stout - apparently it takes 119.5 seconds to pour the perfect pint."
Guinness Open Gate Brewery will open in Covent Garden on Thursday 11 December 2025 after an original plan announced in early 2022 intended a late 2023 opening. The venue will combine a brewery with a large food-and-drinks mega-pub and will offer tours of the brewery area. The site will not brew Guinness itself; core Guinness production will remain in Dublin. The brewery sits in Old Brewers Yard, a short walk from Covent Garden tube station, and a pre-registration for initial tours is available online. An on-site shop will sell "epic Guinness merch" and visitors can learn to pour a perfect pint in 119.5 seconds.
