Citi Bike is set to launch electric tandem bikes in its fleet starting April 1, aiming to enhance the biking experience for couples and boost ridership. The tandem bikes will reach speeds of 18 mph and will come with a new docking system that utilizes a complete parking space for each bike. Despite an increase in pricing, enthusiasm among potential users is high, as it provides a more convenient option for couples.
