In a TikTok video that garnered over 800,000 views, she described feeling followed by two men who then physically threatened her. Following her screams, the assailants fled, and bystanders assisted her as she awaited police, who took around 20 minutes to respond. The incident prompted the Boston Police Department to issue a community alert seeking public assistance in identifying the attackers, highlighting ongoing concerns regarding safety in the area.

"I do not feel safe, I don't think girls should feel safe tonight," Martinez said in the video, one of a series she posted about the alleged attack.
The Boston Police Department issued a community alert Saturday to seek public assistance in identifying the men involved in the attack.
The statement described the first individual to be a white male in his late 20s with a skinny build and wearing all black.
