Everything is frozen - and ice melt is nowhere to be found
Briefly

Local hardware stores in the region report significant challenges maintaining ice melt stock amid colder-than-average temperatures causing persistent ice. As customers flock to these stores seeking ice melt, many are disappointed to find supplies depleted. Jack Gurnon, owner of Charles Street Supply in Beacon Hill, noted a marked contrast to last winter, where leftover ice melt was common. Through resourceful efforts, including sourcing from out of state, he attempts to meet customer demand, while other stores face similar shortages as suppliers across New England run low on stock.
