Julio C. Sosa, a 29-year-old man from the Bronx, escaped from the Brewster police barracks on Friday around 4 p.m. New York State Police are actively searching for him. Sosa was in custody for a nonviolent larceny charge and was last seen wearing all black with a hot pink coat. Authorities have stated that there is no known threat to the public. Police have provided multiple photos of Sosa to assist in locating him and have urged anyone with information to contact them.
