T police: Man's throat slashed in bus station altercation

A verbal argument between two men at the MBTA Nubian Square bus station in Roxbury escalated around 8:06 p.m. on Friday night. One man wielded an object and slashed the other man in the neck. Transit Police said they do not know what type of weapon was used. The injured man found Transit Police officers already in the station and received immediate aid while EMS was called. Boston EMS transported the victim to a nearby hospital with a non-life-threatening neck wound. Transit Police are actively investigating the incident, and they did not provide information on whether an arrest was made.
