"A truck went up in flames Thursday morning on the Massachusetts Turnpike in Westborough, causing a temporary shutdown of the westbound lanes. Firefighters responded to the scene at about 8 a.m. near the 102.4 mile marker, the Westborough Fire Department said on X. Grafton firefighters assisted with the response, and by 8:30 a.m., the fire was out."
"All lanes on the westbound side of the highway were closed as crews battled the blaze, fire officials said. The left lane opened shortly after the fire was extinguished, and by 1:30 p.m., the remaining lanes were also reopened, according to the Massachusetts Department of Transportation."
Emergency crews responded to a truck fire on the Massachusetts Turnpike in Westborough at approximately 8 a.m. Thursday morning.
