British cyclist Ben Tulett of Visma-Lease a Bike triumphed in stage 4 of the Settimana Internazionale Coppi e Bartali, taking the lead in the overall standings. In a thrilling finish, Tulett broke away from competitors Magnus Sheffield and Mark Donovan on the steep Valico Rio Chiè climb, finishing five seconds ahead of Igor Arrieta. Sheffield, who had been leading before the stage, crashed toward the end and fell from contention. Tulett now leads Donovan by 18 seconds and Arrieta by 23 seconds, setting the stage for an exciting final phase of the race.
