"While the investigation is just beginning, there does not appear to be any threat to the general public in connection with these two deaths," the AG's office stated.
"The child - a boy - was taken to Concord Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The woman was pronounced dead in the home."
According to a release from the state Attorney General's Office, Pembroke police responded to a single-family home at about 1 a.m. after a 911 call.
Authorities are investigating this as a possible murder and suicide of these two residents living at that location.
