Blue Jays Notes: Wagner, Bichette
Briefly

Will Wagner will miss the rest of his rookie season after being placed on the 60-day injured list. He will undergo a left knee scope, which is expected to prevent him from participating in baseball activities for a month.
Despite the early end to his season, Wagner made a strong impression with a .305/.337/.451 slash in 24 games after a solid .315/.432/.444 line through 355 minor league plate appearances.
Bo Bichette suffered a contusion on his finger during warm-ups, and his injury could sideline him for the remainder of a frustrating season marked by prior calf issues and a career-low batting line.
With both Wagner and Bichette injured, the Blue Jays may need to depend on Davis Schneider and Leo Jiménez sharing the second base duties this season.
