Daniel Ricciardo's F1 exit confirmed as Liam Lawson replaces him at RB for rest of season

Daniel Ricciardo has confirmed his exit from Formula One, making way for Liam Lawson to replace him at Red Bull Racing for the remainder of the season.

Team principal Laurent Mekies praised Ricciardo's contributions, stating, "He has brought a lot of experience and talent to the team with a fantastic attitude, which has helped everyone to develop and foster a tight team spirit."

Mekies welcomed Lawson, emphasizing his potential and familiarity with the team, saying, "It'll be a natural transition. It's great to see young talent from within the Red Bull family make the next step."

Despite having a promising start after rejoining Red Bull, Ricciardo struggled throughout the season while Lawson stepped in admirably, showcasing his capabilities as a reserve driver.
