"She's the greatest voice of our time and has been this hilarious, fun, but also serious representation of Québec and Montréal. That's what we want to be: not too serious-not fine-dining-but not too casual or flippant. Fun, craveable, talented."
"It's a concept that Jim and I have been talking about for years, showcasing that Montréal French emphasis, but also American food, blended together. It's always been a place that he has loved very much, and it's a place that all of us love in terms of its Boston vibes-historic, old, beautiful, but much more vast."
Coda Restaurant Group is launching Celine, its fifth restaurant, in Fort Point's former Blue Dragon space in late summer 2026. Named after Céline Dion, the restaurant embodies her philosophy of being talented, fun, and serious without excessive formality. The concept blends French-Canadian and American cuisine with a heavy bar presence, cocktail focus, and strong wine list positioned between Coda's casual establishments and upscale dinner destinations. Founder Jim Cochener's frequent visits to Montreal and deep appreciation for the city inspired the concept. The restaurant will showcase Montreal's produce, artisanal cheeses, and breads, maintaining Coda's neighborhood-centric warmth and approachability.
