The Hendrick I. Lott House in Marine Park, Brooklyn, is a historic landmark dating back to the 18th century. Built in 1800, this house represents the area’s Dutch Colonial heritage and will soon be renovated into a museum for public enjoyment. The building, which has been a family residence until 1989, is one of the last surviving examples of Dutch Colonial farmhouses in Brooklyn. After exterior renovations were completed in 2013, efforts are now directed towards restoring the deteriorated interior to open the space as a living history museum.
