A 44-year-old woman was killed in a hit-and-run incident involving a private ambulance in Brooklyn. The ambulance struck her while turning left onto Ocean Ave. at approximately 6:38 a.m. Medics transported her to Maimonides Medical Center, where she succumbed to her injuries. The ambulance fled the scene, and it remains unclear if the driver was aware of the collision.
