The Brooklyn Public Library launched Delivering Together to support thousands of bike delivery workers across nine branches. The program supplies bike repair kits, chargers, tire patch kits, jump starters and loanable equipment for a week with a library card. The initiative provides amenities such as air conditioning, Wi‑Fi, and restroom access while also offering services beyond basics, including English-as-a-second-language classes and bike safety instruction in partnership with the Department of Transportation. Outreach materials are produced in Bengali, Spanish, French, Chinese and English to match the top languages spoken by drivers. The program partners with Los Deliveristas Unidos.
