"BROOKLYN HEIGHTS - A salt-spreader truck equipped with a snow plow ran into an Amazon cargo e-bike in Brooklyn Heights on Wednesday afternoon, sending the bike operator to the hospital. The incident occurred on Hicks Street near Orange Street in the North Heights, where the Amazon employee had been making deliveries. Traffic was snarled on Hicks Street while the investigation was underway. According to a New York City Fire Department spokesperson, FDNY received the 911 call of a motor vehicle accident at 2:28 p.m."
