The robbery occurred Tuesday, May 19, at about 5 p.m. on the northbound platform of the Clinton-Washington Avenues subway station in Brooklyn. A 35-year-old man was approached by two unidentified suspects. The suspects allegedly displayed a firearm and repeatedly struck the victim in the head with the weapon. After the assault, they forcibly took his cellphone. The pair fled on foot, heading eastbound on Fulton Street. The NYPD has not released details on the extent of the victim’s injuries, and the investigation is ongoing.
