A man named Cassius Moss, 54, has been charged with arson for igniting a three-alarm fire on June 4 at a Brooklyn building that resulted in one total collapse and significant damage to two others. Caught on surveillance, Moss purchased an accelerant and ignited it, resulting in the fire which endangered lives and injured a firefighter. While no residents were harmed, the fire left over a dozen people homeless, prompting aid from the Red Cross and local organizations to assist the displaced families.
