Three-Alarm Fire Destroys 1890s Bushwick Church
Briefly

A destructive three-alarm fire engulfed the Iglesia Pentecostal Arca Cristiana in Bushwick on Wednesday morning. Firefighters, facing heavy smoke and dangerous conditions, battled the flames for hours. The church's bell tower collapsed, and significant damage was reported, likely leading to a full demolition. Fortunately, the lone occupant, the pastor, escaped without injury. The fire also affected a neighboring building but did not spread beyond it. Local residents shared their nostalgic connections to the church, highlighting its long-standing presence since its establishment in the 1890s.
With the bell tower and a large portion of the wood-framed church engulfed in flames and the building at risk of collapse, firefighters were forced to retreat and work to control the fire from outside.
It's probably, most likely, a full demo... Flames also scorched a building beside the church, though the fire did not spread further than that.
