Lego's sales increased 12% to a record 34.6bn Danish kroner (€4bn) in the first half, outpacing a 7% recovery in the global toy market. Net profit rose 10% to 6.5bn kroner. Strong demand for Botanicals plant-inspired sets and Formula One grand prix-themed sets contributed to growth. Parents' concerns about social media and a desire to keep children away from smartphones were cited as possible drivers. Lego signed deals for Bluey and Pokemon, launched the She Built That campaign to encourage girls, and pursued digital games and partnerships with teen-friendly brands such as Nike. Yoto's screen-free speakers also saw nearly doubled sales.
