Assembly passes bill to require farmers to notify county before using pesticides near schools
Briefly

Strengthening the enforcement of pesticide regulations in school zones is critical to student health, particularly in our rural school districts. Monterey County ranked seventh for the most pesticides used, with concerns raised about environmental racism and health impacts on majority Latino schools.
