"Roseville police said Monday afternoon that Jessica Savangsy, 36, and Retuquel Dupree, 27, were booked into the South Placer County Jail for charges including murder, conspiracy, and felony child abuse. Savangsy and Dupree were in a dating relationship and lived at the home, and Savangsy was the mother of both of the victims, police said. The Citrus Heights Police Department said Dupree was formerly employed with the department from June 8 to Aug. 5 in 2021."

Two other children inside the home were sleeping and not injured. Jessica Savangsy, 36, and Retuquel Dupree, 27, were booked on charges including murder, conspiracy, and felony child abuse. Dupree previously worked for the Citrus Heights Police Department in 2021. Police established a command center and taped off Oahu Court, and neighbors reported hearing frequent screaming. Roseville police extended condolences to those impacted by the loss.
