Cries for help lead rescuers to woman trapped in storm drain, California video shows
Briefly

In San Bernardino, California, a woman was rescued from a storm drain after passersby heard her cries for help. Firefighters responded shortly after being alerted and found the woman stuck 15 feet down a narrow concrete drain. They guided her on how to maneuver backwards and opened another access point to assist in her extraction. The rescue took about 25 minutes, and the woman was taken to the hospital for evaluation after being pulled from the drain, highlighting the swift action of emergency services and community involvement in emergencies.
"With no room to turn around, the patient was then coached to inch herself backwards about 20 feet," firefighters said.
"Hey, we got you," a firefighter tells the woman, who had lost her shirt, in the video. "You're good. We're going to help you get up this ladder."
