A 58-year-old man was arrested in Simi Valley after authorities said he drove a sport utility vehicle into a doughnut shop, creating a large opening at the entrance. Police said he also attempted to run over the officer and then crashed into a nearby home wall. He was booked on multiple felonies including attempted murder, assault on a peace officer, resisting an executive officer, vandalism, and driving under the influence.
