A woman shoplifting food from a 7-Eleven in Manhattan Beach confronted a clerk with an improvised flamethrower made from an aerosol can and a lighter, creating a dangerous situation in an attempt to escape.
The incident took place at around 3:20 a.m. on November 12, with police noting that despite the dangerous encounter, the clerk was fortunately unharmed during the woman's escape.
