"The incidents took place on Oct. 18 after Ulises Hernandez, a 40 year old man from Madera, left a party at the Monterey County Fairground. Hernandez, driving a red Toyota Corolla eastbound on Fairgrounds Road, first rear-ended a silver Honda Pilot. A juvenile passenger of the Honda Pilot sustained injuries from the crash. As the driver of the Honda Pilot exited his car to speak with Hernandez, however, Hernandez reversed his vehicle and fled the scene, striking a parked white Honda CR-V."
"Officers were dispatched to investigate the incident. Meanwhile, dispatch received a report of another hit-and-run, this time on the 2100 block of North Fremont Street. Officers found Hernandez's red Toyota Corolla which struck a silver Honda CR-V parked on the road. Inside the Corolla, officers discovered two pairs of brass knuckles, which are prohibited in California. Hernandez had fled the scene on foot."
