"OAKLAND - A 77-year-old Lyft driver was beaten so badly he suffered short term memory loss in a carjacking earlier this month, authorities said. The victim, suffered a bloody head injury when a yet-to-be identified woman attacked him on the 1100 block of Clay Street, in downtown Oakland, stealing his 2021 Toyota Prius in the process. The incident occurred around 6 p.m. on Oct. 1, authorities said."
"The car was later found abandoned on Henry Street, authorities said. The man was hospitalized for his injuries, and he reportedly told police he couldn't remember the incident. The suspect was described as a Black woman, aged 20-30, about 5′ 6″ with a thin build, and who was wearing a green camouflage sweat suit and her hair in a ponytail, authorities said."
