Seven-month-old Emmanuel Haro was reported missing nearly two weeks after his mother said she had been attacked in a Big 5 parking lot in Yucaipa on Aug. 14 and that Emmanuel had been kidnapped. His mother, Rebecca Haro, made a public, tearful plea for his return. The baby's parents, Jake Haro, 32, and Rebecca Haro, 41, were arrested last week on suspicion of murder. Investigators searched a remote, hilly area known as the Badlands near the 60 Freeway east of Moreno Valley with cadaver dogs and multiple sheriff's vehicles but did not recover Emmanuel. The investigation and search efforts continue.
