Dan Da Dan's second season is set to premiere in July 2024, following the success of its debut season, which has gained favorable acclaim and recognition in the anime community. The first season's home video release is slated for June 10, consisting of a standard edition and a special collector's version. Directed by Fūga Yamashiro, the show is noted for its unique animation style by Science Saru. The second season will see Yamashiro co-directing with Abel Góngora, promising continued innovation in storytelling and animation.

Dan Da Dan's second season will see Yamashiro returning to co-direct alongside Abel Góngora, who previously directed the Star Wars: Visions short T0-B1.
