Canada's foreign minister Melanie Joly has publicly denounced the actions of Indian diplomats, stating that foreign officials endangering Canadian lives will not be tolerated.
Joly emphasized the unprecedented nature of the situation, noting that Canada has never witnessed this level of transnational repression, likening it to tactics employed by Russia.
She confirmed that Indian diplomats were clearly on notice and that any individuals violating the Vienna Convention would be dealt with accordingly.
