For example, a boutique hotel chain in Ontario has reported a 100% rise in bookings compared to last year, predominantly from Canadian travelers. While positive early indicators suggest a strong local market, industry leaders still express caution due to potential economic uncertainties.
Our stats are projecting that we're going to have our best summer ever," said Meghan James, general manager at the Somewhere Inn in Calabogie, Ont.
