A man in his 40s was struck by a vehicle in Mississauga early Wednesday morning and was pronounced dead at the scene. First responders arrived around 3:45 a.m. near Derry Road and Hurontario Street. The driver and vehicle remained at the scene following the incident. Due to the accident, several road closures were implemented, including the westbound lanes on Derry Road at Hurontario Street and southbound lanes on Hurontario Street at Kingsway Drive.
