A man in his 40s was arrested following a €4.2 million cannabis seizure in Co Clare. Gardaí detained him at a Garda station in the county after 210 kilograms of cannabis were seized. The seizure came from an intelligence-led operation carried out by the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau, the Clare Divisional Drug Unit, and Revenue’s Customs Service. The seized drugs will be sent to Forensic Science Ireland for analysis. Investigations are ongoing.
