"It's home to some of the most beautiful beaches in Europe (including Concha Beach), globally celebrated cuisine, impressive architecture, and much more. With a population of less than 200,000 people, San Sebastian sounded like it would be a welcome retreat from the big cities like London and Paris that my husband and I had spent weeks visiting just before our trip to Spain. We had no doubt in our minds that we'd have an amazing time enjoying San Sebastian, so we planned a monthlong stay"
"We booked a 31-day stay in an Airbnb just a two-minute walk from Concha Beach and its famed promenade. We were also near Old Town with its charming cobblestone streets, historic architecture, and endless pintxo (tapas) bars. With so much action outside our door, we wasted no time in exploring the city. We walked the entire promenade multiple times, checked out the famous beaches, and admired the natural beauty of the area's surrounding mountains and waters."
A couple planned a monthlong stay in San Sebastian, expecting a quieter retreat from London and Paris. They rented an Airbnb two minutes from Concha Beach and within walking distance of Old Town. They explored the promenade, beaches, surrounding mountains, and neighborhoods on foot and by bus. They learned a few Euskara phrases and enjoyed pintxo bars and historic streets. After about four days they felt they had checked off most attractions and began to feel the city was smaller and more crowded than anticipated, prompting departure after ten days.
