The China Passenger Car Association noted that there is a clear trend of increased consumption in new energy vehicles during the off-season, significantly aiding Tesla's July sales performance.
Despite the recent sales boost, Tesla remains challenged by competitive domestic manufacturers, prompting multiple price cuts while BYD continues to lead in overall EV sales.
With plans to initiate production for a six-seat Model Y by late 2025 and anticipated approval for its Full Self-Driving tech, Tesla seeks to enhance its market presence.
