The U.S. military is looking to buy Tesla Cybertrucks to use as missile targets
Briefly

The U.S. Air Force plans to acquire two Tesla Cybertrucks to serve as targets for live missile fire testing at the White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico. The vehicles do not need to be operational, but their body, glass, and mirrors must be intact. The initiative is part of a strategy to simulate real-world enemy scenarios, as the Air Force anticipates that adversaries may increasingly utilize Cybertrucks. Additionally, the Air Force is seeking to purchase 31 other vehicles for similar testing purposes, which will also be subjected to destruction during drills.
The Air Force is planning to buy two Cybertrucks to use as targets for "live missile fire testing" at the White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico.
The trucks do not need to run, but the body, glass, and mirrors must be intact, with little to no damage. This is a safe bet that officials won't be buying them from the company.
In the operating theater, it is likely the type of vehicles used by the enemy may transition to Tesla Cybertrucks as they have been found not to receive the normal extent of damage expected upon major impact.
The Air Force is also looking for 31 other cars, including sedans, bongo trucks, pickups and SUVs, all of which will likely be blown up.
